Dear Samantha, thank you for opening up with your story. As a teacher, myself, I know how it feels if just one person out of a thousand is nasty towards you. A lot has to do with envy. As you said, you love your protagonist‘s child who I‘m sure is very appreciative of this, knowing his/her mother‘s character.

It’s a difficult one alright especially for empathetic people like yourself. It’s always the one that pull us down. But as you said, in other words, chin up and just get on with life appreciative of the 99.9% positiveness surrounding us.
