I agree 100% with you D Abboh,
You have to feel better and more emotionally balanced in yourself before you can bring optimism into your voice. It has to be genuine. It doesn’t matter what coping strategy you use, even on a daily basis, as long as you feel happier with it. But then you should try and reflect this happiness in how you tell your lifestory.
My brother was an amazing example… for me at least. His voice is so much stronger now that he found a coping strategy for his anxiety.
Your voice might change automatically or you may just keep some bad habits without realising it. If you know what I mean….
