I know I’m very late with this one, David S., and I do apologise… I had to muse a bit. Firstly, thank you very much for including me. I am very chuffed… especially as I don’t consider myself a writer of poetry, a user of the channel poetry, yes. And if at all, I write narrative poetry.

Anyway, I shall tag along, and do my best to contribute knowing, too, that I can learn a lot from all the rest of you creative poets.

Since I was a teenager at school, I have always loved William Butler Yeats. I wrote my first poems when I was 15/16 but never kept it up. I started again about five years ago

Ben Okri, Edgar Allan Poe, Christinna Rossetti, Alfred Tennyson to name a few… all storytellers, I’m so old-fashioned.
