Wow, Sherry, thank you for this response coming from someone who has had quite a bit of experience with trolls and negative attitudes. And, yes, there’s no point going into an unending discussion with people who are not willing to change their minds or open to reflection. A polite response, stating your personal point of view and then ignoring them, is probably the best reaction.

I am so conflict shy, I choose my words almost too carefully so as not to upset the monsters … no, no not always, especially when it comes to topics like gun control etc.
